ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Point Break (2015 film)

"Point Break" is a movie about a guy named Johnny Utah who used to be a professional athlete but now he's a cop. He goes undercover to try to catch a group of people who do extreme sports and rob banks, and they call themselves the "Osaki 8." These people believe in something called "the human spirit," which means that they think people should push themselves to their limits and take risks to feel alive. Johnny Utah tries to get close to them and figure out what they're going to do next.

During the movie, Johnny Utah learns to surf, skydive, and do other extreme sports to fit in with the group. He also starts to understand their way of thinking and realizes that he may actually agree with them. But he knows that he still needs to catch them, so he has to make a tough decision.

In the end, there's a big confrontation where Johnny Utah has to make a choice between his duty as a cop and his new friends in the Osaki 8. He chooses to stop them and eventually, they all end up in jail. The movie shows that even though extreme sports can be really fun, it's important to be responsible and not break the law.
