Polished plaster

Polished plaster is a fancy way of making walls and ceilings look super smooth and shiny. Think of it like the icing on a cake, except instead of putting it on top of the cake, it goes on the wall or ceiling.

First, people take a special kind of plaster made from minerals and mix it with water to make a wet, gooey paste. Then, they spread this paste onto the wall or ceiling using a special trowel (like a flat tool with a handle).

Once the plaster is put on, it's time for the magic! The plaster is smoothed and polished using tools like a sponge or a piece of smooth stone. This makes the plaster super shiny and gives it a lovely marble-like appearance.

Some people choose to add colors or designs to their polished plaster to make it look even fancier. And because the plaster is so smooth and strong, it can last for a really long time without cracking or chipping. It's like having a piece of art on your walls or ceilings that will never get old or boring!
