Tadelakt

Tadelakt is made from limestone that is found in Morocco. Moroccan people have been using tadelakt for thousands of years to make their homes waterproof. They mix the limestone with special soaps and then apply it to the walls like paint.

After it dries, the walls become waterproof and really shiny! Shiny like a new toy car. It also has a smooth texture like a snail's shell.
