Politics of Algeria

Politics in Algeria is like a huge game of pretend where the grown-ups pretend to be in charge and make all the rules. In Algeria, there are different groups of grown-ups who all have different opinions on how the game should be played.

One group of grown-ups, called the National Liberation Front (FLN), thinks they should be in charge because they helped Algeria become independent from France a long time ago. They also believe in a strong government that controls everything.
