Polychord

A polychord is like playing with two Legos at the same time, one Lego with three blocks and one Lego with two blocks. Imagine that the three-block Lego represents one chord and the two-block Lego represents another chord. When you put them together, you are playing a polychord. It's like hearing two chords at once and the combination creates a new sound that can be beautiful or strange, depending on which chords you use. Just like picking different Legos to create different shapes and colors, musicians pick different chords to create different polychords.
