ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Polysomnography

Polysomnography is when doctors and scientists watch you while you are sleeping to see what is happening. They put special stickers on your head and body to see what your brain, muscles, and heart are doing while you are asleep. They also watch how you breathe and if you snore. It's like they are trying to take a picture of what happens in your body when you sleep. This helps them to find out if you have sleep problems like sleep apnea or if you sleepwalk.
