ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Predictive engineering analytics

Imagine a grown-up playing a game of building blocks. They lay out the blocks in a certain way, and then they predict how the tower will look like before it's even built.

In the same way, predictive engineering analytics uses a computer to predict how things will work and behave before they are even made. This can be anything from buildings and bridges to airplanes and cars.

The computer looks at lots of information, like drawings and blueprints, to help it understand how the thing is supposed to work. Then, using math and science, it makes predictions about how the thing will behave and how strong it needs to be to do its job properly.

This is really helpful because it can help make sure that things are made well and that they will work properly. It can also help save time and money because if a problem is found in the computer model, it can be fixed before the actual thing is made.

So basically, predictive engineering analytics is like a game where you guess how things will work before they are made, but instead of building blocks, you use computers, math, and science!
