Premier

Premier is a word we use to describe the leader of a country, state or province. It's a really important job! They get to make decisions about things that affect the people who live in that place. They might make rules about things like where we can go, what we can do, and how much things cost. They have to try and make everyone happy, but that's really hard because everyone has different ideas about what's important. Sometimes they have to talk to other premiers from different places to figure out what's best for everyone. It's a really big job, but someone has to do it!
