Probabilistic soft logic

Probabilistic soft logic is a system that uses numbers to make decisions. You can think of it like rolling dice. When you roll a dice, you usually have a one-in-six chance of getting any number. Probabilistic soft logic is a way of using numbers like the ones you could get from rolling the dice, but instead of predicting the result of a single roll, it tries to predict what will happen over many rolls. For example, if you are trying to decide whether to keep going or turn left, you could use probabilistic soft logic to figure out which option is more likely to happen in the long run. It basically looks at all the possible outcomes, assigns numbers to them depending on how likely they are, and then chooses the outcome that has the highest number.
