ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Prone bicycle

Hey kiddo, do you know what a bicycle is? Great! So, have you ever tried lying on your tummy and moving your legs like you are pedaling a bicycle? Yes? That's exactly what a prone bicycle is!

It's a fun exercise that helps you strengthen your back and leg muscles. You lie on your tummy and bend your knees so that your feet are up in the air. Then you start pedaling just like you do on a bicycle. This is a great exercise to do if you've been sitting down for a long time and need to stretch your back out.

It's called a prone bicycle because when you lie on your tummy, it's called the prone position. And instead of riding a regular bicycle, you ride an imaginary bicycle with your feet in the air. This exercise is important because it keeps your muscles strong and helps improve your balance.

So, next time you want to try a new exercise, give the prone bicycle a try! It might feel silly at first, but it's a great way to have fun while taking care of your body.
