Psychological nativism is the idea that we are born with certain mental abilities or skills that help us learn about the world around us. It means that some of our mental abilities or skills are innate or inborn and we don't need to learn them. For instance, when babies are born, they already know the basic skills needed to talk, walk, and understand the world around them. As they get older and learn more, they become better at these things, but they don't have to start from scratch.
