Psychometry (paranormal)

Psychometry is when someone can feel the history or energy of things by touching them. Imagine you have a magic power that lets you hold someone's teddy bear and know all about that person's life just by touching it! People who believe in psychometry think that our energy leaves little bits of itself behind on the things we touch. So, if you touch a necklace every day for a year, a psychic might be able to touch that necklace and know all about your life just by feeling the energy you left behind. It's pretty cool and mysterious, but some people don't believe in it because there's no real scientific proof that it works.
