Public affairs (broadcasting)

Okay kiddo, so you know how sometimes mommy and daddy watch the news on TV or listen to the radio and they hear important people talking about things that are happening in the world? That's sort of like what public affairs broadcasting is.

But instead of just talking about what's happening in the world, public affairs broadcasting is when important people talk about how the government, businesses, and other organizations are trying to make things better for people.

These important people might be politicians, business leaders, or experts in different fields. They go on TV or radio to talk about things like new laws, policies, or projects that they are working on.

The goal of public affairs broadcasting is to help people understand more about what these important people are doing and why they are doing it. And by understanding more, people can make better decisions about who they vote for, what they support, and how they can make a difference in their communities.

So basically, public affairs broadcasting is like a grown-up version of "show and tell" where important people show and tell us what they're doing to make the world a better place.
