Pulse

Pulse is how your heart beats. Your heart is a muscle and it pumps blood around your body. Every time your heart pumps blood it is called a 'pulse'. Pulse is measured in beats per minute (BPM). To take your pulse, you can stop and count the number of times your heart beats in one minute.
