Pupillary distance

Have you ever looked into someone's eyes and noticed that there is a dark circle in the middle? That's called a pupil. Your eyes have pupils too! They help you see things by letting light into your eyes.

Did you know that everyone's eyes are different? Pupillary distance is the measurement between your two pupils. This measurement is very important so that your glasses or contact lenses are made just for you.

When you go to the eye doctor to get glasses or contact lenses, they will measure your pupillary distance by using a special tool. They will ask you to look at an object and then measure the distance between your pupils.

Once they measure your pupillary distance, they can make sure that the lenses in your glasses or contact lenses are in the right spot for your eyes. This will help you see things clearly and make your eyes feel comfortable.

So, pupillary distance is just a way to measure the space between your two pupils so that your eye doctor can make sure your glasses or contact lenses are perfect for you!
