Puri is a yummy type of food that people in India and other parts of Asia really like to eat. It's kind of like a small, round bread that's fried until it gets puffy and crispy. When you eat a puri, it might make a little "pop" sound in your mouth because it's so light and airy.
To make puri, cooks mix together a special dough made from flour, water, and sometimes other ingredients, like salt or oil. They then knead the dough until it's soft and pliable, and roll it out into small, round shapes with a rolling pin. After that, they heat up some oil in a frying pan and carefully place the puris in to cook. When the puris are done, they come out of the pan looking very golden and crunchy.
People eat puri in lots of different ways. Sometimes, they dip it in a spicy sauce or soup, or use it as a scoop to pick up other foods. Other times, they might fill it with yummy things like vegetables, meat, or cheese. No matter how you eat it, though, puri always makes for a fun and tasty snack!
