Push–pull technology

Push-pull technology is a way of sending and receiving information. It is like when you send a letter to your friend - you push the letter out of your mailbox and they can pull it in to their mailbox.

In the same way, computers use push-pull technology to send and receive information over the internet. With push-pull technology, you push information from your computer out to a website or another computer. That other computer or website can then pull the information you sent out, so it can be seen by other people.
