Putto

A putto is like a cute little baby angel with wings that you might see in pictures or statues. They are often shown wearing pretty clothes and doing things like playing instruments or holding flowers. Putti (the plural of putto) were really popular in art a long time ago, especially during the Renaissance period. People thought they were very sweet and happy-looking, and they would use them to decorate fancy buildings, gardens, and churches. Even though putti aren't as common in art today, you can still see lots of pictures and statues of these little angel babies if you look around!
