Pyroptosis

Pyroptosis is a special kind of cell death. It's like when a cell get very angry and starts to break apart. Normally, cells will die in a more quiet way, but with pyroptosis, the cell starts to swell up, release all kinds of things inside it, and then it explodes! Cells do this to protect your body when there are dangerous germs around.
