ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Qisas al-Anbiya

Qisas al-anbiya means "stories of the prophets" in Arabic. It is a way for Muslims to learn about the prophets and their teachings in Islam. It is similar to the Bible stories that Christians learn about in Sunday school.

Imagine if you went to a big library and found a book with all the stories about different prophets. These stories are written for kids and tell us about the struggles and good things that prophets did in their lives. For example, Noah built a big boat to save himself, his family, and the animals from a big flood that happened. Similarly, Prophet Muhammad taught us how to be kind to others and to believe in one God.

These stories help us learn from the prophets and understand what we should do in different situations. We also learn about God's mercy and how prophets would always turn to Him for guidance. By studying these stories, we hope to become better people and follow in their footsteps.
