ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Quasi-set theory

Quasi-set theory is a way of looking at what things are made of, like how a Lego set is made of tiny plastic pieces. Quasi-set theory says that things are made of small parts, but that those parts are not exactly the same as each other. The pieces can be similar, but they don't all have to be exactly alike. This helps us understand why things look and act the way they do. For example, when you look at a pile of sand, each grain looks a little different, and so the whole pile isn't all the same. With quasi-set theory, we can understand why that happens.
