Quasi-state

A quasi-state is a type of organization or entity that is similar to a state or country in some ways. It is not a fully independent state, but it has many of the same qualities, like having its own government, legal system, and currency. For example, the Vatican City, which is the home of the Catholic Church, is a quasi-state because it has its own government, laws, and money, even though it is not an independent nation.
