Queer

Queer is a word that some people use to describe themselves and the communities they are part of. It's a way of thinking differently about gender and sexuality. It's an umbrella term that includes anyone who feels they don't fit into traditional ideas of gender and sexuality, or who don't identify as straight or cisgender (when your gender is the same as the sex you were assigned at birth).
