ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Query by Example

Query by example (also known as QBE) is a way to search for information in a computer database. It works by letting you type in an example of what you are looking for, and then the computer looks for any matching information in the database. For example, if you wanted to find books about cats, you could type "cats" into the query box and the computer would find all the books that have the word "cats" in them.
