ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

RSBAC

Hello there! Do you know that there are programs in our computer that can help protect it from bad people who want to hack or harm it? One of these programs is called RSBAC or Rule Set Based Access Control.

RSBAC is like a security guard that checks who can enter the gates of your computer. It has a list of rules that decide what people or programs can do inside your computer. For example, it can decide if a program can read or write files, or if a person can access sensitive information like your passwords.

Let's imagine that your computer is a big playground with lots of different places to play. RSBAC is the playground manager who decides who can play in each spot. It has a list of rules like "Only kids who are 5 years old or older can play in the sandbox." This way, little babies can't get hurt by big kids throwing sand at them.

In the same way, RSBAC has a long list of rules for different parts of your computer. For example, it might say "Only programs with a certain name can read your email," or "Only you can change your password."

So, whenever someone or something wants to access your computer, RSBAC checks if it meets the rules. If it doesn't, it won't be allowed in. This helps keep your computer safe and secure from bad people who want to do harm.

That's RSBAC, the security guard for your computer playground!
