Radial Basis Function Network is a type of machine learning algorithm (a set of instructions for a computer to follow). It helps a computer "learn" what a certain pattern looks like. For example, it can help a computer look at a picture of a dog, and tell whether it is a dog or something else. It does this by taking in information about the picture, such as how big the dog is and what color it is, and comparing it to other pictures of things it already knows. The more information it has, the better it becomes at making accurate comparisons. Radial Basis Function Networks are used in a variety of different ways, such as taking in voice or image data and recognizing patterns.
