Radiator

Okay buddy, so you know when you're playing and it's really hot outside, and you start feeling all sweaty and hot too? Well, cars and some other machines can feel that way too! That's where radiators come in.

A radiator is like a big, flat, metal rectangle that sits in front of a car's engine. It has lots of tiny, criss-crossing tubes that let liquid flow through them.

You see, when an engine works really hard (like when a car is driving really fast or when it has been working for a long time), it can get really hot, just like when you run around a lot and get hot and sweaty. When that happens, special liquids called coolants flow through the engine to help it cool down.

After the coolants go through the engine, they go into the radiator. This is where things get interesting. The liquid coolants go through the tiny tubes in the radiator and they get to cool off because they are exposed to the outside air. It's like when you sit in front of a fan on a hot day and it makes you feel cooler.

Once the coolants have cooled down, they go back into the engine to keep doing their job of helping the engine stay at the right temperature. So, radiators are like big coolers for a car's engine. Pretty cool, huh?
