Radio edit

Okay kiddo, do you know when we listen to songs on the radio and sometimes they change a little bit from the original version? That's called a radio edit.

Sometimes songs have bad words or inappropriate things in them, and the radio wants to make sure they can play something that is okay for everyone to listen to. So they take out those bad words or parts and make a new version that is safe for the radio.

Other times, songs might be too long to play on the radio or have parts that are too slow, so they take out those parts too and make a shorter, faster version that will be more enjoyable to listen to on the radio.

Overall, a radio edit is just a special version of a song that has been changed a little bit so it can be played on the radio for everyone to enjoy.
