Radiosynthesis (metabolism)

Radiosynthesis (metabolism) is the process your body uses to turn food into energy that it can use. When you eat an apple, the apple is broken down into smaller parts in your stomach so your body can use it. Then the smaller parts are taken to your cells, where they are changed into glucose (sugar) and used to create energy. This process is called radiosynthesis.
