ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Railroad police

Okay kiddo, let me explain what railroad police are. Do you know what a train is? It's a big machine that moves on tracks and carries people and things from one place to another.

Now, sometimes people do bad things on trains, like stealing or fighting. That's when railroad police come in. They are like regular police officers, but their job is to protect passengers and the train from bad people.

Railroad police also make sure that nobody goes on the tracks when a train is coming, because that can be really dangerous. They also help with emergencies, like if there is a fire or someone gets hurt on the train.

So, that's what railroad police do. They help keep trains and passengers safe, just like regular police officers keep people safe on the streets!
