ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Railway town

A railway town is a place where many people live and work because of the train. Trains are big machines that go on tracks and carry people and things from one place to another.

When a town grows up around a train station, it usually means that many people come and go through that station. The train station might have a lot of people working there to keep the trains running smoothly. Then, other businesses might start to open up nearby to provide things like food, lodging, and other services for the people traveling on the train.

In a railway town, the trains are really important because they bring in a lot of goods and services that people need. They might also bring in people who work at the train station, or people who are traveling to other places for business or pleasure.

Overall, a railway town is a community that owes much of its growth and success to the trains that pass through it.
