Rapid antigen test

A rapid antigen test is like a secret agent that sneaks up on germs and sees if they are in your body. The test is done by taking a little bit of fluid from inside your nose with a special swab stick and putting it on a tiny piece of paper.

This piece of paper has some secret ink on it that can detect the bad guys, also known as antigens. It's like checking for fingerprints of the germs that are causing the sickness you might have.

After a few minutes, the paper will show up with some colors that only grown-ups can understand. They will know if you have antigens in your nose or not. If you do, it means that you might have caught a cold, flu, or COVID-19.

This secret agent test is pretty quick, so you don't have to wait long to find out if you are sick or not. It's a way to keep other people safe too! By knowing if you have germs, you can stay home and keep from spreading them to others.
