Real-time computing

Real-time computing is a type of computing that happens very quickly, faster than ordinary computing. It is used for very important tasks such as controlling robots or other machines. Real-time computing works by taking input from the environment (like sensing temperature or movements) and quickly responding to it (like changing temperature or moving a robot arm). It is like having a super-fast person who can quickly figure out what to do based on the situation.
