Reference class forecasting

Reference class forecasting is a way to predict the future of something. It's like trying to guess what might happen, based on what has already happened. To do this, you look at similar things that have happened in the past and use them as examples (called references) to help you guess what might happen in the future. This helps you to make a more accurate guess.
