Refraction

Refraction is a kind of magic trick that light can do! When light moves from one place to another, it sometimes bends, or refracts. This happens when the light passes from one material to another with a different density (like air to water). Imagine that the light is like a ball rolling along a table. When it reaches the edge, the ball changes direction. That is what light does when it refracts. It changes direction a little and makes things look a little bit different than they did before.
