Refrigeration is a way of keeping things cold by using a machine. The machine takes some heat from inside the refrigerator and moves it outside, so the inside stays cool. The machine uses a special fluid, called a refrigerant, to move the heat from one place to another. When the refrigerant gets heated up, it turns into a gas and travels through tubes in the fridge. The gas gets cooled down and changes back into a liquid which then moves the heat back outside. As the heat moves out, the inside stays nice and cool.
