Relations of production

Relations of production is a term used to describe the way people work together to make things. People in a given society have different roles, and the way these roles are organized is the relation of production. For example, in some societies, people are farmers who grow food to be eaten, and in other societies, people are factory workers who make products for people to buy. In each society, different jobs, rules, and tools are used to organize the production of goods, and this is called the relation of production.
