ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Religious liberalism

Well, my dear, religious liberalism is when people believe in God, but they don't take everything in their holy books too seriously. They try to understand their holy books in a more modern and logical way, and they also respect other religions and beliefs. They believe in individual freedom, human equality, and social justice. Basically, it means being open-minded, accepting differences, and wanting to make the world a better and more peaceful place for everyone.
