Remaindered book

Okay kiddo, have you ever played with blocks and tried to divide them evenly between you and your friend? Sometimes there might be extra blocks left over that can't be divided evenly. The leftover blocks are like the remainder of the division.

Well, something similar happens with books. Sometimes a store or publisher might have too many copies of a book and they can't sell them all, even though it's a good book. These leftover books become what's called "remaindered books".

It's kind of like the blocks - the leftover books can't all be sold or divided equally among stores, so they're sold at a discounted price to other stores or online retailers. Sometimes the "remaindered" books might have a mark on the cover or a different cover design, but the inside is the same as the original book.

So, buying a remaindered book is a good way to find a good book at a cheaper price, just like getting a few extra blocks to play with.
