Replacement migration

Replacement migration is when people from one group (like a country) move to live in another group. This kind of migration happens when the original group has too few people, or the people in the new group have different skills that the original group needs. For example, if a country didn't have enough doctors, they might look for doctors from another country to come and help their people.
