Reproductive system
The reproductive system is made up of organs that help us make new people. These organs help us create eggs and sperm, which are special cells that mix together to make a baby.
A female's reproductive system has two main parts: the ovaries and the womb. The ovaries make both eggs and sex hormones. The womb is a place where an egg can grow into a baby.
A male's reproductive system has two main parts too: the testicles and the penis. The testicles make sperm and the penis is used to put sperm inside the female's womb.
The eggs and sperm make a baby when they join together, which happens in the female's womb. Sometimes the female and male join together… but it's OK if an adult helps in this process too!
