ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Resource based economy

A resource based economy means that instead of people trading money to get things they need, they would use the natural resources around them to provide for their needs. These natural resources could be things like water, air, and food that come from the earth. People would have access to these resources without having to pay money for them. This means that everyone would have what they need to live a good life, and everyone would be equal. To have a resource based economy, people would need to work together to figure out how to best use the resources and share them fairly. That way, everyone could benefit from them and have what they need to live happy and healthy lives.
