The Retail Apocalypse is when a lot of stores around the country close because they are not selling enough stuff. It means that people aren’t coming to their stores to buy things, so the businesses can’t make enough money to stay open. This has happened because more and more people are buying things online instead of going to stores. This means stores are losing customers and with fewer customers, they have to close.
