Rex (title)

Rex is a special word used to describe a really big lizard that used to live a long time ago but is now extinct. Rex means "king" in Latin, so this lizard was nicknamed the "king" lizard because of its big size and strong presence. Scientists have studied rex for a long time to learn more about it and how it lived. Even though rex isn't around anymore, we can learn a lot from its bones and fossils that have been discovered.
