Road space rationing

Road Space Rationing is a way of trying to manage traffic so that there are not too many cars on the roads at once. Basically, it works by limiting the number of cars that can be on the roads at a certain time. This might mean that only certain people are allowed to drive on certain days or that cars have to be registered in a certain way. For example, some cities have implemented rules where cars with certain license plate numbers can drive on certain days, so that the number of cars on the roads is spread out across different days. This helps to reduce the amount of traffic on the roads, which makes it easier to travel and makes roads safer.
