Robinsonade

Hello! Today we are going to talk about something called "robinsonade". Have you ever heard of it? Robinsonade is a type of story where a person is stranded or stuck on an island alone and has to survive.

Remember when we watched that movie about a man who was stranded on an island and had to make friends with a volleyball named Wilson? That was a Robinsonade story! Just like in the movie, the person in the story has to find ways to survive without help, like finding food, building shelter and figuring out how to signal for help.

Robinsonade stories are named after a book called "Robinson Crusoe" which was written a long time ago. It was about a man named Robinson Crusoe who was stuck on an island for almost thirty years! Robinsonade stories can be in books, movies, or even TV shows. It's always exciting to see how the person in the story will try to survive and it can teach us about the importance of being brave, creative and resilient when faced with challenges.
