Rocket engine

A rocket engine is like a really powerful jet engine. It uses a special kind of fuel which makes it really powerful. The fuel is burned in a special area of the rocket engine called a combustion chamber. This makes hot fuel and gas which is pushed out of the back of the rocket engine at very high speeds, which pushes the rocket forward. That's why rockets can go so fast.
