Rodeo bareback rigging

Okay kiddo, so you know how cowboys like to ride horses, right? Well, sometimes they like to ride really wild horses in a big competition called a rodeo. And when they ride these wild horses, they don't use a normal saddle like you might see at a horse stable.

Instead, they use something called a bareback rigging. This is a special kind of strap that goes around the horse's belly and chest. It's made out of tough leather and has a handle on it for the cowboy to hold onto.

The cowboy puts the bareback rigging on the horse and then he gets on the horse's back. The horse is set free from a chute and starts running really fast and jumping around, trying to get the cowboy off its back.

But the cowboy holds on tight to the handle of the bareback rigging and tries to stay on the horse as long as possible. It's not easy, though, because the horse is really wild and moves around a lot.

At the end of the ride, the cowboy gets scored on how well he rode the horse. If he rode the horse for a long time and didn't fall off, he gets a high score. If he fell off or only rode the horse for a few seconds, he gets a lower score.

So that's what a rodeo bareback rigging is, kiddo. It's a special strap that helps cowboys ride really wild horses in a big competition called a rodeo.
