ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Romans 11

Okay kiddo, so Romans 11 is a part of a book in the Bible called Romans. This chapter talks about how God chose the people of Israel to be his special people a long time ago, but some of them didn't believe in Jesus. So, God let other people who believed in Jesus become part of his special family too.

It's like if you have a favorite toy and you only let your best friend play with it. But if your friend didn't take good care of it or didn't appreciate it, you might let someone else play with it too. That's kind of what God did with his special people, Israel.

But just because other people were allowed to be part of God's family, it doesn't mean that God doesn't still love the people of Israel or that they can't still believe in Jesus. In fact, God says that he still has a plan for them and one day, they will believe and be part of his family again.

So, basically Romans 11 is talking about how even though some people didn't believe in Jesus, it doesn't mean they can't eventually be part of God's family again. And it also explains that God's love and plan is for everyone, not just one specific group of people.
