Sacerdotalism

Sacerdotalism is when people believe that priests or religious leaders have special powers given to them by a higher power, and that they are the only ones who can perform certain religious activities. It’s like when you ask your parents for help with something, but they tell you only a grown-up or a teacher can help you. In the same way, sacerdotalism believes that only priests or religious leaders have the authority and power to do certain things in a church or religious setting.
